I have always loved nature, and birds in particular.  Growing up on a small farm and raising horses, cows, pigs, chickens, pigeons, and rabbits helped me gain a love for animals. I love to paint wildlife art and remember the beauty and life of an animal in my taxidermy.

I use many different mediums in my wildlife art, such as acrylics, watercolor, ink, and pastels. I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style. My bird taxidermy is a fun project which helps me be a more accurate painter.

I enjoy hiking and photography in my spare time and many of my pieces are directly influenced by these hikes in nature. I love recreating plants and wildlife in my work.
